G Suite improves communication for Pebble
A move to G Suite has delivered substantial cost savings, simplified the infrastructure and improved communication for this Newcastle based software specialist.
Pebble is a leading software specialist that develops income generation applications for UK schools, local authorities and charities. They were keen to drive further efficiencies in their business and looked for technologies that improved processes. Consideration was given to G Suite because some of their clients are educational establishments who already use G Suite for Education and this would mean they could communicate more effectively with them.
With the support of Refractiv, a leading UK Google for Work Premier Partner, Pebble dispensed with its internally hosted Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint systems and migrated to G Suite for Business. This now delivers great communication, a powerful and instant search capability and a coherent approach to mail, calendar and contacts.
Although there was a short timeframe for the implementation, it was achieved on time and on budget and had an immediate and positive impact on the company’s productivity. Communication with key clients was also improved overnight through Gmail and G Suite’s excellent collaborative tools.
To underpin the migration, Refractiv delivered a comprehensive training package and provide ongoing support to ensure that both individual users and the company as a whole gain the maximum benefit from the change.
