CISSP qualification gained by security guru at Virtronix

Jay George, Head of Information Security, has qualified as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®), bringing clear benefits to Virtronix and our clients.

The CISSP® was the first credential in the field of information security, accredited by the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) to ISO (International Standards Organization) Standard 17024:2003. CISSP® certification is not only an objective measure of excellence, but a globally recognised standard of achievement.

The CISSP® program is run by The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium who state:

"Technological solutions alone cannot protect an organisation's critical information assets. Employers demanding qualified information security staff give their organizations a leading edge by providing the highest standard of security for their customers', employees', stakeholders' and organisational information assets."

CISSP® is achieved by passing a demanding examination, and requires the practitioner to prove they posses several years of experience in Information Security.
