Application development work boosts security vendor

Swivel Secure is an award-winning vendor of PIN-based authentication solutions, with operations throughout Europe, the US, Australia, China and SE Asia

Having previously outsourced their research and development overseas, Swivel decided to move the work to the UK, in order to improve communication and allow more direct control of the PINsafe product development.

With its strong pedigree in the development and implementation of security products, Refractiv  was the obvious choice to provide Swivel with the help they needed, including security certification and support for operations in South East Asia.

A very strong partnership has evolved, with Swivel drawing extensively on Refractiv's skills and resources over a period of more than 3 years. The scope of the work was broadened from the original Java-based development to include not only technical consultancy but also web development and support services. Refractiv's consultants have also been heavily involved in supporting Swivel's channel partners and customers, travelling extensively worldwide to provide on-the-spot assistance.
